MSO Cache

In general, MSO Cache (for Windows products) is created in a folder somewhere
on the drive to which that program is installed. I have had a re-accuring
problem when installing Office 2003 Professional with it creating this folder
in a seperate director/folder on another drive. . .Is there a work-around, or
can these files be deleted?

Delete them. If you do repairs to the program you will need the CD in the
tray again - is all!

You can get a description of MOScache here:

At the bottom of the article is a link to a utility that will allow you to
move the folder to another drive.

I disagree with the post that says you can just delete the file. You can,
but that is not the best approach. To delete the folder, run cleanup on the
drive the folder is installed and then check the box for Office Setup Files.
Doing so will cleanup the registry entries.
