MSN6.1.207 Fail to sign in 0x81000314

Hello
I can sign into my MSN passport and get my Hotmail by IE.
I can not sign into 6.1.207 Messenger and get a fail to
connect please try later 0x81000314.
My wife computer she can sign into her msn 6.1.207 and
works great. I can not sign into my msn account on her
computer or my 3rd machine. This looks more to be a MSN
server problem. I have check status only to find all is
ok. I have looked into the knowledge base only to find
nothing that will help. Thank you and I hope you have a
fix or find what the server problem is and fix it.

I have exactly the same problem as you since two days ago, I can sig
by IE but not by msn. I created a new hotmail account to test if it wa
a configuration or a firewall problem but it signed ok, so I don't kno
how to fix it. If you find a solution please post it here I will do th
same. thank

Okay..someone please help us understanding..same thing here We are
using this computer and when I trie to log online with Messenger I ge
the "Fail to sign in 0x81000314" but when my friend logs on everythin
works for him. I can't get it to work and its been like 4 days.
why Can't I get online and someone using the same computer can....
