Messenger immeadiately signs out after sign in

Just happened today...... When I sign into MSN and click on the mail tab.....
a screen flashes quickly that looks like the download manager screen... but I
don't get acces to my email........

When I try to pull Messenger up in IE, it takes my to the MSN sign in page,
loads my MSN Home page, and then turns around and automatically signs me
out....

Any suggestions or thoughts?..... searched the newsgroup but couldn't find a
similar issue within the newsgroup....
