msn won't work at all..... msn window/messenger/help even!!

Firstly, thanks in advance Jonathan or anyone that takes time to answer our questions (especially mine) :

When I try to sign into messenger it tells me I have wrong/incorrect sing in or passoword, I've checked a dozen times and all is right, I've even used other names that I know are still active and fine!! I tried to go to msn help... nothing, everything I hit (help wise.... "change password" "get help here" contact msn" "Feedback for msn users" ect) all comes back a screen "Page can not be displayed" ect! I've checked my securitiy settings and all I can think of! nothing! I haven't signed on or checked my e-0mail in days! eek!

Firstly, can you reach the following URL:

If you get the dreaded "Page cannot be displayed" error, more than likely your secure website
support (that is, SSL, secure socket layer) has been damaged. As such, here are some
suggestions to fix the problem:

1. The date on your computer needs to be set properly -- double click the clock verify that
the time and date are set.
2. Check your IE Security settings -- open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, then
Internet Options, then Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section, and verify that "Check
for server certificate revocation" is unchecked. Also verify that 'Use SSL 2.0' and Use SSL
3.0' is checked, then click OK.
3. Click Start, then Run, and enter the following:
regsvr32 softpub.dll
then click OK

Then try again.

Hiya, mines doing the same thing. Did you find a way to

sort it? Please help its really doing my head in not
being on msn messenger, lol.
