Hello,

I have read this previous post, and could not find a reply. It reads a follows:

"I have a problem that someone might be able to help me with. After I log out
of my email program (Hotmail), I see on my desktop an icon with the label
MsnMail.txt. When I open the icon, I see a bunch of machine language info
pertaining to the messages in my email account. When I delete the icon, it
goes into the recycling bin. But as soon as I return to my Hotmail account,
check my mail, and then log out, the icon pops back up on my desktop.

Why is this happening, and is there any way to stop this annoying intrusion?
(operating system: Windows XP-SP 2)"

I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question, as I have the same thing happening on my pc. It is a Dell Dimension 3100. It uses a high speed modem connection (Speedstream 5200).

Thanks
RS

I have since located an answer on a Dell Community Forum. The solution is as follows:

Try this>sign into msn>on the help and settings menu click e-mail settings>click e-mail options>clear the enable server logging>click save changes>right click msnmail.txt on desktop and click delete.

Thank you for posting my problem.
