Hello,

I am experiencing weird problems...
When i try to logon with MSM messenger v7.0 beta 7.0.0425 i get the
following error:

"Sorry, we could not connect you to the .NET Messenger Service. Try
again later. 80072eff"

When i try to logon with Windows Messenger 4.7.3001 i get the following
error:

"The .NET Messenger service session failed to open because the password
is wrong or the username doesn't exist. If you don't remember you
password, [...]"

But the username and passwords are correct because:
1) i can connect to my hotmail.com account using that username and password
2) i can connect to msn using webmessenger.msn.com using that username
and password

The other weird things is with windows update, when i run windows update
the left column in the page appears as if a CSS file failed to load
and when i click either "" or "" i get the following error:

"Windows Update met an error and can not display the page. The following
sources of information can help you solve the problem: [...]"

followed by a list of help links.

Any one knows why i got those problems ?

Nevermind, it is because i set a proxy in IE and MSN and windows update
doesn't like my proxy obvisouly.

Well, actually, desactivating the proxy in IE solved the MSN and the
left column problem in windowsupdate, but it still doesn't work when i
click "custom install" or "quick install"
