msiexec.exe- missing in action

My msiexec.exe file has been deleted, by a malignant
source or otherwise. Obviously, this causes a few
problems. For one, I receive a 1607 error when I try to
install many programs. I desperately need a new msiexec
file, or some way to restore my original.
 
Ryan, Did you try to do a Search for it. A search I did turned up two.
C:\Windows\System32 and
C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

You could try unregistering and reregistering Windows Installer with the bel
ow commands to see what happens.

msiexec.exe /unregister

msiexec.exe /regserver
