here is my problem and I cant seem to find a way to fix
it myself...
I have windows XP Pro.. with all windows updates
1) went to install software
2) got to about 80% if i remember right
3) computer crashed..
4) cant start the install again.. program freeze at the
first window with the "click here continue button" just
before the EUL where you pick to accept or decline it. If
i am fast enough i can click it and make it to the end
user lisence before it freezes but cant get past that.
In the task manager under the "running" tasks I get a
double "not responding" message for the installer (with
that installer name).. when i right click each one of
those i get 2 different links to .exe files that 1 takes
me to the explorer.exe for the desktop, the other for
msiexec.exe..
Oh also when it "stops responding" I checked the task
manager.. it eats up memory goes from 8,000k (aprox) to
way over 100,000k then drops back down but still wont
respond. have to "end task" on the msiexec.exe file to
shut it down.
how can I get this to install again?
