MsHome not accessible..

Randy

I have networked two pc's, both with XP Home software.
I am using a Linksys router. My internet connection works
fine. On the main PC I can view both PC's in the
workgroup. However, on the 2nd PC, whenever I click
on "View Workgroup computers", I get a message saying,
" MShome is not accessible. You might not have
permissions to use this network resource..."
Can anybody please tell me what I need to change?
I am trying to add a network printer to the 2nd PC, and I
cannot locate it because of this error message.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Greetings Randy,

That error is gerneric and it doesn't tell you anything except there is a problem
on the network. Ensure all firewalls are disabled and uninstalled while troubleshooting.
Make sure XP's firewall is disabled on local area networks. It's only intended for direct
connections to the Internet. Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on all machines.
