Msgsrv32 "not responding

I uninstalled QUICKEN, and when I attempt to re-install the
program, it freezes and I get the error message, "Msgsrv32
not responding" . . . so I decided to reinstall Windows 98
on top of the Windows 98 (it was an uprade over Windows 95)
on my computer, and it too freezes up right away, just like
the Quicken program . . . with the same error message,
"Msgsrv32 is not responding" . . . please help . . . thank
you . . . Bert G.

Yeah, I've gotten this before. You're headed in the
right direction with re-installing the OS.

You will want to perform a clean install. First,
format the harddrive, then put your Win 98 upgrade
CD in the CD Rom...go into setup. Continue through
the setup. When it asks you for compliance info (seeing
if you actually had an OS previously since this is just
an upgrade disk), put in your Win 95 cd. Once compliance
check is finished, re-insert your Win 98 CD.

Good luck!
