I have reverted to Mcafee 7.1 and this seems to have fixed the problem
BUT
our security bods are relectant to move everyone back.
Is anyone else seeing this problem?

The messagebox problem?

I have heard about the problem with McAfee 8 several times in the public
groups, so it seems to be a common problem. AFAIK, there is no patch
available for McAfee 8 to fix the problem.
