Msconfig

Several years ago I upgraded from W-ME to XP. When I was using ME I
could go to Run>>>MSCONFIG and remove items from the startup but since
the upgrade the message box says that Windows cannot find MSCONFIG.
Someone told me of another name to use and it worked but cannot
remember what that name was and I need to remove some items from
startup again

Can someone tell me what to use instead of MSCONFIG?

MSCONFIG.EXE is available in XP. Click Start/Run and type:

C:\WINDOWS\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.exe
