MSAS ... uninstalling it because it doesn't do nothing

I am no "guru" but for the life of me I have no idea what MSAS is actually
doing or how it benefits me.

It doesn't update itself as its supposed to. It doesn't do a scheduled
scan. It doesn't detect anything when I do a manual scan ... but Adaware
does.

I just get popups every once in a while saying it allowed the installation
of something I did not want ... and sometimes blocks me when I am installing
something I do want.

Maybe I will try it again when MSAS grows up a bit.

Yes, its very buggy in this beta 1 release, but feed back like yours is
helping the MSAS team to create a concrete stable products, and you should
see a stable and reliable release based on newsgroup feedback by beta 2.

I'm not either.

Mine does.

Microsoft Beta does not do cookies st this point. AdAware does.

Anything it allows (the green ones) are obviously things that are on
its "safe" list. I see those all the time. I'm not 100% sure I approve of
all of it becasue it doesn't stay up long enough for me to read it. The
blue ones are usually scripts or registry changes that it doesn't
recognize. If you know it's OK, just allow it.
Maybe I will try it again when MSAS grows up a bit.
I wouldn't be in this group if I didn't have a positive attitude about
MAS. Stick around and *help* it grow (up).
