MS03-037 security patch

I am in the process of deploying the MS03-037 security
patch to all PCs in my department via SMS. Most of them
are successfully patched. But a few of them aren't. The
error message is "The expected version of the product was
not found on your system". These PCs are indeed running
Office XP.
Any idea why?
Thanks.
 
Are any of the versions that will not install Beta or another
prerelease version?
 
They (both successfully and unsuccessfully patched) are
all running the same version of Office XP... 2002
(10.4524.4219) SP2.
