You can save the Works files in .doc format so it will be
easier to bring them up in Word. When you save a file,
open the drop-box underneath what you name the file in
the Save Function and choose .doc. Rich Text Format .rtf
is also good because it just saves the text with the
style and not all the code in specific word processing
programs.
Word Perfect is included with your computer as a bundled package which was
included in the purchase price of the computer. It is not a Microsoft
product and was NOT included with Windows. You will have problems attempting
to put Works 4.5 files in Word Perfect. I don't think they include a file
converter for that version of Microsoft Works 4.5.
You should b e able save your document in "rtf" format, and I'll bet WP will
open "rtf".
