MS Word Problem

I am unable to open any Word documents. Message states
file is not available.
Also, I am unable to open any e-mail attachemnts in aol,
hotmail or verizon.
I have spoken with techs from aol and verizon to no avail.

hi to resolve it please search the system for the file :
normal.dot and on finding it please delete it.
