MS Wireless 600 Mouse & Bios

Recent purchase of MS Wireless keyboard/mouse 6000 v2... Upon setup, then
boot in WinXP64, the Bios sees the keyboard fine but doesn't recognize the
mouse (ps/2 mouse not found, press F1 to continue) - causing a halt in the
booting of XP64. Both Keyboard/Mouse are fine within XP64, and all related
usb/mouse fields in the bios have been assessed or enabled, but still the
boot process halts during the post... Any ideas??
Thanks in Advance.

Unless there is a special need for this equipment, wireless keyboards and
mice are just kids toys creating additional problems.

See if there is a BIOS option like "Mouse port reservation" or "IRQ12h
reserved". If this is the case, disable that option. Not a Windows issue
anyway.
