MS updates

Can anyone tell me why and how to fix this problem. Every
single day Microsoft sends me the same update (update v4 )
to download onto my computer. What is wrong with the
first one I downloaded months ago.

These are NOT coming from Microsoft.

Microsoft NEVER sends Email with attachments.

NEVER open a unexpected attachment.
Verify with sender before opening an attachment.
Delete the mail and the attachment immediately if not verifiable.

Install ALL Critical Updates IMMEDIATELY.
Start/All Programs/Windows Update

Install an antivirus application
Update it weekly
Run it at least weekly
