MS Update #KB967715 screwing up Outlook

I have my Outlook set up to permanently delete items when I close and it
always has done that until the above Micrsoft update was installed.

I deleted the update but since my computer is set up to install updates
automatically, it keeps reinstalling it.

Right now I have it set up to NOT install the updates automatically but
since I'm not the only one using it, it could be changed again without me
knowing it right away.

Is there a fix to this update?

I don't see how 967715 can interfere with Outlook; is it possible that
Outlook does not close completely (check with Task Manager)?

To prevent an update from installing automatically, hide it on the
Microsoft Update page http://www.update.microsoft.com/
