MS Security Bulletin MS04-011

Norton Antivirus detected the w32.korgo.ab virus on my computer, but couldn't
delete it. File identified as pyacf32.dll. They said that I need to have
installed the security patch that goes with MS04-011. After downloading it
(on another computer) and attempting an install, I get the message that it is
unsuitable for my computer. I chose the version of the download that should
be used by Windows XP Home. Is there a known problem with this patch, or
could I just be using a wrong version?

Thanks for the references. I read through them and none had encountered my
problem. Will probably reformat my hard drive and start over. Should
probably just chuck all of this Microsoft related hassle, and go back to
Apple.
