MS Patch for scheduler

Guest

I had script errors with my McAfee VirusScan Scheduler and this is what their
support page suggested.

****Install the Microsoft patch for Task Scheduler. This fixes some known
issues and upgrades the MS task Scheduler to a newer version. This patch can
be obtained by contacting Microsoft support and stating that you need the
hot-fix for article Q812400 and upcoming article Q812960. A free support case
will be created for you to get the update. All this will be done by
Microsoft. ****

I tried to contact MS by e-mail but it says that I don't have access to
their support because my Windows is an OEM version.(I built my own computer
and bought the OEM version since they are much cheaper) Does anyone know
where I can download this patch?

Hi

MS don't support OEM versions. Try contacting your OEM supplier.

Call Microsoft Professional Customer Service @ 1-800-936-4900 (this line
is 24/7), there is an option for hotfix. A rep will email you a link to
the fix.
