patch for task manager

I need a patch in order to schedule a virus scan and the patch i was told i needed was the Microsoft patch for Task Scheduler i was told to contact microsoft and say that i need the hot-fix for article Q812400 and upcoming article Q812960. but i'm haing trouble contactin customer support.. does anyone know where i can get this patch?

As the article states, you need to call Microsoft Product Support Services to
obtain it (outside the US, customers should contact their local Microsoft
subsidiary.). The support call will be be free as long as you refer to the
Knowledge Base Article number and ask for nothing more.

For WinXP:

In the wizard, Select WinXP, and Basic, and then "It was purchased separately"
