Hi:
Please help! I cannot schedule automatic Virus Scans on my
computer due to an issue with the Task Scheduler . I am
getting the Error Code: "0x8007007a: The data area passed
to a system call is too small".

I know that I need to install the Microsoft patch for task
scheduler. How do I contact Microsoft support to request
the hot fix for article Q812400 and upcoming article
Q812960? How do I get them to create a free support case
so that I can get the update?

Any help on how to maneuver through this web site and
request the patch would be *greatly* appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi,

There is a link in the article on how to contact Microsoft Product Support
to request the hotfix - use it. The hotfix is free unless you ask for other
support.
