MS Paint - Undoing edits to pictures after saving possible?

G

Guest

I have a couple of photos which were accidentally edited (spray painted over
and drawn on with MS Paint program). The modifications were saved, however,
I noticed when the image is viewed as thumbnails in windows explorer, the
pictures displays as if it was never altered. But if I open the actual
image, the modifications show up. Since I can view the original unaltered
image as a thumbnail, I would like to know if I can somehow restore the image
to it's original condition. Is this possible? Thanks.

Try right-clicking on the picture and choose "Restore previous versions"
from the context menu.

Because its built for Vista, it was first introduced in Server 2003, and XP
Pro had it, but you had to be connected to a Windows Server 2003 network to
take adavantage of it.

You have to enable the Volume Shadow Copy, Click Start > Control Panel >
Administrative Tools > Services >select Volume Shadow Copy > Play.

Of course, it has to be setup on the Server to work in conjunction with
client.
