MS Outlook 2007 Address book and Contacts

Hi everyone,

Hopefully someone can help me with this problem? I have recently installed Outlook 2007 but cannot seem to get my contacts working properly with address books.
In Outlook contacts I have added all the necessary details for my friends but they do not show up in Outlook's address book. I have created some sub folders to organise my contacts and they are listed in the drop down box in the address book but they are blank.

This would not be a problem if I didnt want to use distribution lists but when I try to create a new distribution list, I am unable to specify the recipients as my Outlook address book is empty.

How do I synchronize the two or how can I get this to work?

Hi again, I have now worked this out. It seems that the Outlook addresss book will only show you addresses that have email addresses associated with them. i have also now added a mobile address book and things are progressing.
