MS Office Word as email editor

This just started yesterday, when I go to respond to an email, it then states
"MS word as your email editor"...but never actually gets to the reply part.
Anyone know how to change the settings so I can reply to emails.

For OL2003 and older, see Tools > Options > Mail Format tab to turn off Word
as your e-mail editor.
