MS Office 4.3 Pro with Excel 5.0c

Eric Desart

Hi All,

This is probably a strange question

Is there ANY possibility that I can still download this software anywhere.
I've an old (but very good) 50000 lines Macro 4 program causing my Excel
2000 to crash.

My old disks aren't trustworthy anymore.
The main thing is the Excel 5.0c but the office 4.3 pro should be better.

Indeed I'm an antiquity :):):)
Nevertheless for me important.
Hoping in a solution for which I'm grateful.

Kind regards
Eric

Does Microsoft store such archive things on the net in FTP directories or
something?

I doubt that my Office 4.3 floppies are any more reliable that yours. I
think that several later versions of Excel could enable Excel 4 macros. I
thhink you had to enable the option at setup time.

Thanks Dave & Larry

Larry, I really am looking for an undamaged Office 4.3. Pro
I know about Excel 4 Macros. Some code really crashes XL2000.
So I want to search and alter the code. Will be try and error to find the
cause.
I even can't open the add-in without Excel 2k generating an error and
shutting down.
The program works perfect in XL97.
I'll need the XL5 still having the recorder (also for futher adjustments).

Dave advice is OK (thanks for taking the time to search for me) but takes
some time.

So still open for suggestions.

Many thanks
Eric

There is an outfit that deals Used software. Oddly enough, I believe that's
their site name: UsedSoftware.com. If not you should be able to do a
search on the words. Good luck .
