MS Java components in win 982e....

Re-Loading windows 982e trying to fix another problem, a
message appeared, of course I did'nt get it all. But it
basically said "windows cant open (or find?) Java ????
in d:\win98\c????.cab" (corrct location of WIN98 disk)

Can I re-install the Java system some how, it could be the
root cause of my problems.

If you updated to IE6 SP1, you may need to install some version of Java.

The MS version can still be downloaded from here:

This web page also contains a link to download Sun version, should you prefer it
instead.
