ms dos client connectivity with windows 2000 mixed/native mode domain

hi i currently have a single pc connecting to a single nt 4.0 domain using
the microsoft ms dos client software, this all works fine with nt 4.0 but
will this cause problems when i move to windows 2000 and start using active
directory?, will it be ok as long as the win2k domain stays in mixed mode
and does not switch to native mode?, or is there not any problems with using
a ms dos client to connect to a win2k dc?. if so is there an updated ms dos
client for win2k servers?.

many thanks for any replies!!,
paul.

native/mixed mode won't affect the possibility of MS-DOS clients to logon to
the domain. If you were to install Windows Server 2003, than you would have
to check out http://support.microsoft.com/?id=811497, but with 2000 this is
not necessary.
