MS Digital image Pro 9. How do I group photos into a new folder.

F

Frank Martin

I have keyworded about 1000 scanned photos from miscellaneous photo albums,
and now I want to select the photos and store the result in appropriate
folders for mailing to friends.

My idea is to use Windows explorer to arrange sequentially the photos I have
selected.

I can't seem to transfer a keyword group from Image pro to Explorer.

Please help, Frank

For the task you describe, I would suggest a
simple...Copy / Paste.

With your selected images diaplayed in Digital
Image Library...you can multiple select by holding
your Ctrl key and left click each image you wish to
include. Right click the selected group and from
the menu choose Copy.

Right click the folder you wish to save the selected
files in and from the menu choose paste.

For additional info on:
Picture It! / Digital Image Pro /
Digital Image Library......

Or...go to the following site:

Wait for the page to load.

(if the newsgroup list doesn't load,
left click your Refresh button)

Scroll down the list in the left pane to:

"pictureit"

BTW, be sure to include your MS Picture
It! or Digital Image Pro version and your
Windows version.

Thank you, this worked.

Is "Picture/It" the same thing as "Digital Image pro"? Why is there two
names?

You're welcome.

Picture It! was the original name for Microsoft's
digital image editing program. The name of the
top-of-the-line (most advanced) program was
changed to Digital Image Pro with version 7.0.

For the purpose of reaching different price points,
there are still several versions of the product...

The most recent version 10 is showing up on
store shelves now. Here are some links if you
