Digital Image Suite 2006 Shortcomings

I have tried Adobe Elements 3.0 and ACD See 7 and Studio Line Photo 2 and
others. Digital Image Suite 2006 is a good product but falls short in the
following ways.

1. Can't address all Metadata. (Recommend having a full list of available
metadata and you being able to select which to see in the application).

2. You can customise the text that appears under the photos or the text
that appears on the hover action. (Recommend that you be able to select from
the list you select above to what appears where.)

3. Doesn't have a stack or version feature. (Recommend being able to stack
multiply photos together for grouping. Example color corrections, cropping,
or any enhancement from your master.)

4. Keyword problem, you can't have a master keyword say 2005 Disney Trip
and have sub categories like Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios. I want all
my photos to have the master keyword and select certain photos to have the
subs as well. When you select the sub the master is not selectable.

5. A calendar monthly view would be nice that could display a pic that was
taken in the box for each day.

6. No search options available so you can say show me every picture with
the keyword Baby but exclude those with Daddy.

7. When importing photos the program should read the meta data for photo
orientation and auto rotate photos so you don't have to select them manually
and do it.

BIG PRO. The application writes keywords straight to the file so if you
copy the file to another computer your keywords follow. And when you rotate
does not force a save as so you don't lose quality in jpg's.
