MS AntiSpyware, premature expired notice

Today I got a window saying

Microsoft AntiSpyware has expired as of July 31, 2005. And
when I try to run it, this flag again comes up.

Tried downloading the programme again from MS, but when I
installed it I got the same message.

Frustrating & weird.

Is there any news of a version without this limitations?

If you reset the long and short date format for your geographic locale, in
control panel, to the topmost choice in the dropdown box, (as well as being
sure that your date and time are set correctly) you should be OK.

I can't guarantee this, but it has worked for nearly all so far.
