Antispyware wont run

I have installed antispiware on my home coputer but when
I go to open it I get a message saying this version has
expired as of July 31, 2005 then the program doesnt open.
I downloaded antispyware from the net on another computer
and installed it on my home pc because my dialup
connection never completes the download. Also my
computer's time and day settings are incorrect. Would
either of these have anything to do with it or is there
another problem.

Either your date and time are set incorrectly--please
check--or:

Check the long and short date formats for your locale, via
control panel.
Let me spell this out fully:

Go to Control Panel, Date, Time, Language, and Regional
options.
Choose Regional and Language options

On the Regional Options tab, click on Customize in the
upper right.

Click on the Date tab.

Change both the Short date format and the Long date
format to the topmost choices in each drop-down box.

Reset these to the top most choice in the drop-down
control.

This works for most, but not all languages and locales--
there have been a few folks for whom we haven't been able
to fix this issue
