MS antispyware and Norton Antivirus

Yes. I know of no compatibility issues with Norton Antivirus.

Some Norton suites products, NSW 2005 for example, are associated with an
issue in which the System Explorers don't appear in the Microsoft
Antispyware UI.

There's a simple fix for this which we post multiple times daily here.

So far so good on this end. I had just downloaded the
Beta 1 ver. tonight and I am also running Norton AV2005.

Could somebody please tell me where the fix is - I have
looked for fix downloads, etc. but can't find anything.
There is no active search on this newsgroup, so can't use
that either!

Thanks, Bob

I'm sorry about the search being busted--here's the fix:
=======
We believe we have a workaround which is better than installing the VB6 SP.
Can we have users who experience this problem try the following:

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware

Please let me know if this is working.

Yes - I have had no problems

It will also run alongside ewido security suite, which
incidentally picks ups some threats (beside tracking
cookies) which MS does not.

ewido also seems, after a few runs, to get rid of Aurora
(fingers crossed)
