We just applied Office sp3 update and a long running access application started failing with several errors “undefined user function Date()” and also seems to be missing the rtrim, ltrim and trim functions also. Have been to the djsteele site (most excellent) and removed, every reference, re-added and recompiled to no avail.
If I enter into the target ap and write a query using the date() function it also fails. However if I create a new db and write the same query it works fine.
When we role back to sp2 everything runs fine. Any feedback would be welcome.
