MS ACCESS 2003 file menu question

How to delete phantom links in Access File menu.
The databases have been deleted but still show when ACCESS launches. This
confuses the already challenged user.
 
The items you see there are recently used files. It does not check to see
if they still exist or not.

Pretty much all Office Products include these.

You can turn it off in Tools/Options/General. Simply change the uncheck the
"recently used files list".
