Mpegsplitter.ax

When I search for *.avi files I get an error in mpegsplitter.ax. The dialog
states to check for a newer version. However, I am unable to find this file
anywhere. Any suggestions??

I found MpegSplitter.ax in C:/Program Files/K-Lite Codec Pack/filters/. If
you have K-Lite Codec Pack uninstall it via Control Panel and see if things
look good. If you still need K-Lite go here to dowload the newer version:

If its other than K-Lite make a search on your computer for mpegsplitter.ax.
It should find the file, and it will list the directory of where the file is
at. If it's part of a program, you may need to uninstall the program and do
as above (Search for newer version. There are other codec links on the URL
above)). If you don't want to uninstall the program, then just delete the
file/rename and give that a try. Reboot, and the problem should go away.
