mp3 Sound File Doesn't Play During Viewing???

I put together a slide show with 90 photos and four mp3 songs included: 1 mp3
at the beginning; 1 at slide #28; another mp3 at slide 43, and a final mp3
at slide #56. I have it set so that each song plays for a prescribed # of
slides.

I have included the same settings for activation, ie, after previous slide,
on all sound files. When I do a "rehearse timings" or "view slideshow" the
mp3 at slide # 28 does not play at all. All 3 of the others play just fine.

If I'm not viewing the slideshow, but instead merely click on slide #28 on
the left margin where all the slides are, the sound file plays fine at Slide
#28.

If anyone could give me some advice on this, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks.

What animation settings did you use for the second mp3?

I believe I have them all set exactly the same. I went into the "custom
animations" menu and set the sound to play "after the previous slide"; I
also set it to play for a pre-determined number of slides before it ends.
Aside from that, I don't believe I have any other animation settings set. -
Could there be something else that I'm overlooking. Thanks for your help
with this.

Austin:

I went back again and found-out that somehow the volume setting was set to
"0" on that one mp3; so I changed it and now all is well. What a dumb
mistake, huh? Oh well. Thanks for your help.

Dave: Could you please help? You spoke of "volume setting at
zero" ---could
you tell me exactly where you saw that setting, ....I'm having trouble
with
some music files playing too softly--and I max out my volume but still
get
weak response.......I've looked in the custom animations area and saw
nothing about volume.......many thanks..........john
