MP3 players and song order

I have a Gateway DMP-X20 MP3 player. The suggested
program that I use to load music onto it is Windows Media
Player. When I load a CD on my computer, it appears in
the WMP library in the correct order, but when I transfer
it to the MP3 player, it loads the songs in alphabetical
order. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, you should always use a leading zero in front of the track number. That
way they will sort in the order they were on the CD. You will have to set the
naming scheme up in the ripping software. Most does this by default.
e.g. 01 Track Name.mp3, 02 Track Name.mp3, etc.
If you already have a bunch of files that need to be renamed, you can use
Tag&Rename free for 30 days. You can literally rename every file with one
