MP3 player....

I have a Centrios MP3 player and I'm using Window Media
Player 9 in WinXP.
I can't copy mp3 files on the device as "F" removable
hard drive. I am getting a "I/O device error".
Can anyone help me?
I've used it on other computer, using WinXp and WMP 9 and
had no problem to copy the files.
Why can't I do it on my computer???

Thanks in advance

A lot simpler is Windows Explorer where you can "drag&drop" or "copy&paste" the files/MP3s to or from the Centrios MP3 player. You may need to clear some of the old files off the Centrios to make room for additional music. You did not state how much memory the Centrios has - 128mb is about 30 songs/MP3s
Start/All Programs/accessories/windows Explorer

Yes, I've tried it in Windows Explorer, Window Media
Player and WinAmp. Still getting the same I/O device
error.
There's 128MB removable hard disk, while in the program
before copying files to the player, it shows how much
room is left to add the songs.
I can copy the files to the player via from the
CD's...does that mean, after I download MP3 files and
than burn it before copying to the player???? I don't
think so...

It has a 128mb removable hard disk??? You mean removable memory card, right? DO NOT format the memory card, just delete all the files on it then copy and paste new files to it using Windows Explorer. I change mine daily with new songs that I use when I'm out jogging.

If that is what you want to call it, a memory card, but
it's built in the player, it's a two piece unit, that one
part is the battery and the second part have the
connection for the USB...never formatted the thing. I've
tried using Windows Explorer to copy and paste and nada,
still getting the I/O device error.
