BTW, this AM I finally had a chance to try the screen blanker you mentioned on
the W95 puter, no luck, at the moment I'm trying MS "flying windows", that should
work.
I have a few tech questions, for some reason, can't since yesterday go to a MS W98
ng, may try the alt.W98 one. An expert named "Shep" used to hang out there.

Darn, my win95 days are not that long ago, so you got my interest on
setting up a machine with it.

Thanks for the link. I had posted to alt.win95 but it looks dead, if no answer in
a day, I will try the above or alt.win98. This W95 old puter is, right now, more
headaches then my main P166, with W98.
Wonderful! This is the only MP3 player I have found so far that doesn't
cause the sound on my old PC to 'stutter' when other things are going on
(antivirus checking a download, general surfing etc) at the same time.
Just a shame that the sound quality is not as good as those MP3 players
with a few more knobs and buttons.
I agree with you about the sound, I was using Winamp with a DSP plug in. Oh
well, can't have it all I guess.
