mp3 file problems

I have these mp3 data lost their extentions after being burned into a dvd disc.
some of them just simple have no extentions at all.
the original mp3 turned into mp , for instance.
though the data are usable with media player but it is not the way i want to
hear it on the computer. I can only select a song once and it is not
continuous the whole songlist to run on media player.

is that any way to resolve this minor /but quite urgent problem?

i tried to create new file association with the mp3 files with incomplete
/possibly corrupted extentions in drive c but it does not help much.

pc specification

ms media center (japanes ver.)
hdd 40 gb

ram 1gb

media player ver 10
along with others such as jet audio basic ver.

please email the possible solution to (e-mail address removed).

much appreciated

You haven't specified what software you used to burn to DVD with.
Neither Windows nor WMP can write to DVD.
