mp3/battery question

another dumb question from me; i don't use my mp3 a lot, so can i remove the
battery when not in use ? i believe i can, but want to make sure & not lose
everything on it.

No. They are normally hard-wired in.

There are exceptions which use "ordinary" batteries, if thats what yours
uses then if you want to you can take it/them out. If they are
re-chargeable, no need.

An mp3 device battery will de-charge slowly. When you want to use it just
re-charge it.
