Moving Windows Xp Pro SP2 to another HD on the same PC

Hello, I just wondering on this. I have my Windows XP installed on my 2nd HD
and this HD has three partitians on it (D-Windows,E & F). I want to move my
Windows to the 1st HD (C). Is there any way to do this besides having to
install all over again. This has been my setup for 1 year and I just
discovered that on my C drive that there are system files. Is it safe to
move my Windows to the C drive or may iI simply delete these system files
from my C drive and then format it?

Although you MIGHT be able to move it - something is bound to go wrong.
Backup your important data - remove any "removable" drives (ZIP, etc) and
reinstall.
