Move Windows to another drive...

E

//erlin!

Hey,

I've been getting some strange high pitched noises from my HD lately and
have had a few "Disk Error" messages at boot time. I bought a new HD and want
to migrate my XP setup onto it, but I don't want to start a fresh setup as
all my work-related stuff is in that drive. The problem is...and why I am not
just running a mirror image of the drive...the old drive is D: but the new
drive C:.

What is the best way to move the entire XP setup in this situation?

Thanks.

There is a Wizard to roll into a single backup file all Folders and
Documents settings for each user. So you can reinstal on the
new C, then create Admin and User profiles, then import the F&D
setttings into each.
