Moving Programs/Files to new disk

I have a new 80gb usb drive. I want to move my MS Office
97 to this new location. I've tried uninstall/install
but it keeps sending me back to fixed disk 'D'. Any help
would be appreciated. OS is Win XP Professional. Jerry
