Moving Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003

I just bought a new laptop and need to move my
messages/contacts/calendar/nicknames from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003
(rules and short-cuts I can recreate manually). My pst file has been
set up in My Documents folder, part of migation of my laptop from an MS
Exchange set-up to standalone Internet only (so I could keep my laptop
when my employer went belly up). I also have an ost file - is it a
remainder from the MS Exchange days? What files do I need to copy to
the new laptop and where do they go?

The following page should give you most, if not all, the information you need
to make this transition: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm

The .OST is an offline storage file used with Exchange and as long as you
have your data in the .PST, you don't need the .OST file. (It's orphaned
anyway -- .OST files are tied to the original Exchange profile under which
they were created.)
