Moving hard drive to new computer

I recently bought a Pent. 4 computer with no hard drive and my plan is
to take the hard drive from my older machine and install it in this
newer machine.

Is this reasonably feasible to do and can I do this without upsetting
Mr Gates?

Your help will be appreciated.

Lewis.

Providing you have a non OEM version of win, as an OEM version may be locked
to the origonal hardware.
Assuming win is not locked you would have to run a repair installation of
win, and install mobo chipset and other hw drivers

Thats no problem at all,you simply install xp cd,boot to xp cd,reinstall
xp.An
oem version of xp or a retail version of xp wont make a diffrence whats so
ever, just realize a "repair" install of xp wont work, you must reinstall.....
