Movie Maker

I have a Panasonic NV-GS17. I use Movie Maker all the time to make my films.
All of a sudden I have the usual picture but no sound. I use a USB connector
and have tried other ports. Same result - good picture, no sound. Does anyone
know what has happend?

MM was not designed ot work with USB. Panasonic use a USB video driver to
make their cam work with usb and to enable dv.avi capture, try re-instlling
the drivers from the cd or you may have to use their app.
