Movie Maker Stalling

When editing clips on the timeline my program will just suddenly stall. No
errors or messages. It just freezes up and I have to CTRL ALT DEL to
recover. Another problem I have noticed is when adding video clips from
captures it imports the video into the timeline upside down 180 degrees.

Any help?

what kind of source files are you using? if the are MPEG-2 or Divx/Xvid
encoded AVI files, you need to convert them to ones that work in Movie
Maker...
